Husks

The husks of the cocoa beans are the basis for dye and print paste on peace silk to create wraps inspired by the multifunctional Japanese Furoshiki cloth. The discarded material of the chocolate sector becomes the raw material for textiles.

Husks is a project in collaboration with Pol Contreras a chef, pâtissière and chocolatier based in North of Spain. In 2022 he was selected by the 50 Next list.
